Ji`an Group strata are mainly distributed in the southern region of Tonghua, Jilin Province. Through the contrast and analysis of previous material. Based on the strata of sedimentary formation, rock combination, relationship of structure and magmatic rocks and the ore-forming, ore-forming geological setting, ore-controlling conditions and ore deposits (points) distribution characteristics, the author summarized the ore-forming regularities, showing composite gensis, multiphase metallogenic characteristics of gold(silver), lead, zinc, polymetallic ore deposit in Ji`an Group strata, its metallogenic process underwent formation of initial beds-transformation of beds-magmatic hot event enrichment-emplacement of ore bodies. This paper proposed criteria for ore prospecting and defined the metallogenic ore-hunting prospect areas.
