With the development and construction of New Coastal Area, Tianjin, the demand for geothermal resources is increasing. The Qiaogu-Kancai geothermal field is located in the New Coastal Area. In order to meet the need of geothermal resources, the authors discussed geophysical exploration in the geothermal field. This paper adopts the aeromagnetic survey, magnetotelluric sounding, gravity, temperature measurement and other geophysical methods, identifies preliminarily stratum structure, speculates the bedrock roof 3 500 ~ 4 000 m depth, interprets 7 fracture, analyzes the fracture position, strike and dip angle, analyzes the geothermal field characteristics, and also calculates heat storage temperature.
