le="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class=MsoNormal>lang=EN-US>The data processing and field investigation indicate that there are 42 iron deposits (spots) which have been found in l:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />ry-region w:st="on">lace w:st="on">Laoslace>ry-region>. Some of them are very important, such as Vangviang iron deposit in Vientiane Province, Phou Nhouan iron deposit in laceName w:st="on">XiangkhouanglaceName> laceType w:st="on">ProvincelaceType>, Pha Lek iron deposit in lace w:st="on">Vientianelace> Province, Ban Nonglao iron deposit in Khammouan Province and so on. These important deposits are occurred in the form of stratiform-like and vein-shaped bodies with high ore quality, and belong to contact metasomatic deposits and hydrothermal deposits. According to the conditions of strata, magmatic rocks, tectonics and the distribution of deposits (spots), 3 metallogenic prognosis districts can be divided in ry-region w:st="on">lace w:st="on">Laoslace>ry-region>, namely, Louangphabang, Muang Pek and Xam-Nua.
