The Qinglong U orefield lies on the southern margin of an EW-trending second-order volcanic faulted basin in south of the Mesozoic Jianchang Basin between the Shanhaiguan paleouplift and the Yanliao subsidence zone in northeast of the North China platform. This U orefield is characterized by high grade ore and large reserve. This paper deals with its geological setting, mineralization characteristics and ore control factors and considers it as an unconformity type one and puts forward a thought of prospecting in the depth.
