In this paper, the typomorphic characteristics of pyrite, S, Pb, H-O, C-O isotope data of Liukou gold deposit are studied and compared with the Majiayao, Rushan, Sanshandao, Linglong and Jiaojia gold deposits. Based on the parameters of δFe-δS, δFe/δS-As and (Fe+S)-As, it is showed that Liukou is a magmatic hydrothermal gold deposit with the element assembles of Co, Ni, Bi, Cu, Mo, Sn, Ti and Cr and the geochemistry elements and crystal structure indicated that the ore-forming materials result from deep part of the earth. Therefore, the ore-forming elements are mainly resulted from the deep-source fluids with middle to high temperature, eventually forming middle to deep magmatic hydrothermal gold deposit.
