     A comprehensive and comparative analysis was conducted on volcanic rock composition, trace element characteristics, mineralization alteration features and geological features of Qingshuigou-Bailiugou ore field and Baiyinchang ore field. From the perspective of sulfide mass deposit mineralization, the author analyzed and discussed the similarities and compa- rability between the two ore fields, to indicate the prospecting potential and prospective districts of Qingshuigou-Bailiugou area. Results show that the two ore fields boast comparability in metal- logenic epoch, ore-bearing rock combination, volcanic rock formation and mineralization conditions. Therefore, it is considered that there is great prospecting potential in Qingshuigou- Bailiugou area, with Gadaban area being the most prospective area and deserving further investigation.
