摘要
Aqikekuduk fault, which is a convergent plate margin fault, has been active since it formed. The fault can be divided into near EW part and NEE part with different characteristics. The activate characteristics were studied by remote sensing, field survey and fractal methods. The near EW part is with strike-slip feature and with weak differential vertical activity. The NEE part moved since Pliocene but the activity is weak. Fractal dimension of the whole fault is low, which expressed that the structure of the fault is simple and with weak activity and the last activity is with strike-slip characteristic. The study can provide evidence for the estimation of regional crustal stability and site selection.
