Carbon-Dioxide Gas Reservoir Formation and Distribution Laws in Changling Fault Depression of Songliao Basin

详细信息
摘要
Since the discovery of carbon dioxide gas reservoir in Wanjinta of South Changling Fault Depression in the late of 1970s, high-content carbon dioxide gas reservoirs are successively found in Gudian and Cbangling etc. The distribution of carbon dioxide gas reservoirs is mainly controlled by discordogenic fractures, volcanic rock or magmatic rock. Changling Fault Depression is controlled by 8 big fractures, and the urgent problem in exploring disposition is to find out which fracture affects the distribution of the carbon dioxide in Changling Fault Depression. Therefore, the migration and reservoir-forming model of mantle-derived carbon dioxide is proposed, and furthermore the distribution of the inorganic origin gas reservoir is thought to be controlled by basement strike-slip fracture. Qian’an and Changling fractures are low-angle and strike-slip depression-controlling fractures with wide extension and under all the other faults in the fault depression. Along the faults, the mantle-derived gas such as carbon dioxide etc. migrates upward during the episode of faulting. In fact, the formation of all carbon-dioxide gas reservoirs is relevant with these two big faults within the depression.
