Structural Evolution and Hydrocarbon Accumulation in Luliang Uplift in Junggar Basin

摘要
As a discontinuous successive paleo-uplift,Luliang uplift is a favorable area for hydrocarbon accumulation and its structural framework was generally formed from the Carboniferous to the Early Permian in late Hercynian orogeny.The hydrocarbon migration and accumulation are found mostly along paleo-swells and paleo-nose bridges.There exist two faulted systems in Luliang uplift,one is deep,the other is shallow,and both of them shape two petroleum assemblages.It is suggested that the future petroleum exploration in this area should focus on such targets as the northwestern zones of Xiayan swell,Shixi swell,Dibei swell in the lower assemblage;the Shixi-Mobei swell joints,Sangequan swell,Yingxie sag,Dinan swell faulted zone front and Dibei swell faulted zone front in the middle assemblage.
