class=MsoNormal>///Reef-bank gas reservoirs are featured by strong heterogeneity, low porosity, high resistivity, and complex lithology, which challenge logging identification of reservoir fluids. In this paper, the authors review eleven logging identification methods of fluids in carbonate reservoirs currently available at home and abroad, including the resistivity method, the porosity overlapping method, the P1/2 method, etc. Taking the Longgang reef-bank gas reservoir in the Sichuan Basin as an example, the authors built specific discriminant models according to different lithologies and reservoir space types, and selected 3 methods, i.e. the resistivity method, the integrated neutron and sonic wave method, and the integrated P-and S-wave method, for reservoir fluid identification.
