This paper deals with regional geological setting and geological teatures tor the Qingcaoshan Cu-polymetallic deposit in Tibet. The deposit is located in the Mopanshan fracture zone of the Qiangna landmass. The ore bodies are confined in granodiorite porphyry and its country rock with alteration and zoning characteristic of a porphyry deposit. Therefore, the deposit belongs to porphyry copper deposit.
