///The values of geotechnical material parameters, c and φ, based on unified strength theory, are used for the calculation of anchor pullout force and the generalized Coulomb earth pressure in cohesive soil recommended in the norm. The performance function of anchor retaining wall is established. Considering the geotechnical parameters for normal and lognormal distribution, and using design point method and JC method to program for a project case, the reliability program, is obtained. The results show that reliability index of anchor retaining wall increases with the increasing intermediate principal stress coefficient b and the increment is larger with the decrease in variation coefficient. The results also indicate that reliability index is larger as parameter change to lognormal distribution from normal distribution and the increment is larger with the increase of b.
