Application of Controlled Source Audio-Magnetotelluric Method in Looking for Hidden and Deep Mines
The controlled Source Audio-magnetotelluric method (CSAMT) is an artificial source in frequency domain sounding method based on MT and AMT. For the advantages of medium-depth exploration, high resolution, and anti-interference ability, it becomes an effective way to metal ore exploration. Through the data processing and anomaly analysis, the authors get the abnormal regions. The result indicates that the method successfully explains the location, depth, and range of the deep ore-rich region, which is verified by drillings. This result provides a good basis for the secondary development of the Erlian copper. The CSAMT method successfully reflects validity in looking for deep and hidden mines.
