摘要
Group-type separation of crude oils was performed generally by using a micro-column chromatography. In this study, the optical density of each group type was determined with the TLC-optical density detector. Then, the percentage of each group was calculated based on the relationship curve established by both micro-column chromatography and TLC-optical density methods. Comparison shows that the TLC-optical density method is rapid, efficient, sensitive, and simple, and it is more accurate for the group-type determination of crude oils with relatively high wax contents.
